Description: Utilities for wireless (802.11) NIC configuration
 Utilities that use the Linux wireless extensions API (version 21) to
 configure compatible Linux drivers.  Almost all Linux wireless
 drivers support wireless extensions to some extent.

 In most cases these tools are sufficient to configure NICs for
 WEP security (or lack thereof!), but not WPA - you need
 wpa_supplicant for that.
